Dear Xanga,

Thank you for being there for me when everything else seemed to somehow fail.

I've got an Ipod now and don't believe I will be needing your services for a while.

But who knows.

xoxo - me.

So I know I haven't up dated in a bit...I just seem to have fallen.

I dont know what is going on with me.  I feel slightly abandoned. Not by those who I know are there for me but by those I wish were there for me.

Those who would pick up the phone and call me or text me.

But I guess after my actions sometimes it's not deserved.

If someone says they will always be there for you, and you know that is an impossible statement to uphold to and do all you can in your power to prove them wrong.  Do you have a right to be angry when they falter?

I feel angry, I feel like they should've kept fighting, kept proving me wrong.  But they didnt, they proved me right and that means all my notions are correct. I have some crazy notions.

I wish I had as much faith in my future as other people did.

Why'd you make me laugh
if in the end you were
going to make me cry?

I miss my ipod.

I hear new songs and my first thought is to find it and get it so I can add it to my ipod, then the realization of it's loss occurs all over again.  It's tormenting.  People think I'm being funny or they make think I'm crazy, but my Ipod was my friend.  It was a stress reliever, there for me. My friend, my voice. And it's gone.

It's hard.

Alright here is a little something I thought of today while in class and was surprised by the responses.  Dont bother clicking on anything "link" looking b/c I doubt it'll lead you anywhere.

Krishna Patel Is wondering of Social Networking sites are a way for Individualistic societies to feel like a Collectivist society without the intense social obligations?

Tim Dmjd Jones at 11:51am April 2
Did you think of that all by yourself?
Krishna Patel at 11:52am April 2
yup yup
Tim Dmjd Jones at 11:54am April 2
LIAR!! That is wicked clever...

i try i try - but doesn't it make sense?!?! No one wants the "obligation" of belonging to something but everyone seems to be looking for something to belong too.
Tim Dmjd Jones at 12:40pm April 2
Well, it makes perfectly good sense... I am just saying that it doesn't sounds like something that would come out of your mouth.. I love the way you said it, and it beautifully scripted.. I give you 3 thumbs up!
Krishna Patel at 12:48pm April 2
you obviously dont know me as well as you think you do Mr. Jones.
Bethany Bengtson at 1:03pm April 2
This seems true.
Bethany Bengtson at 1:03pm April 2
But not necessarily a bad thing.
 Roee Ben-Moshe at 1:08pm April 2
true. also whats ironic is that the most unsocial person created the best social program.
Hussein Sayani at 1:29pm April 2
I don't think it makes people feel like they're a part of a collectivist society, but rather it lets people get attention they wouldn't necessarily be able to get in real life ... and everyone needs some attention, right?
Krishna Patel at 2:19pm April 2
I wasn't saying it was good or bad..Just thought it was interesting.

Hussein - I dont mean facebook itself - but the pages and groups and that to be "a part of something"
Krishna Patel at 2:26pm April 2
Roee - I believe some of the best things were created by those who kept themselves. With the objective to give other people with the same personality traits a way to "connect" - but I think in the process it has slightly inhabited those who were once able to connect face to face to the means of technology.
Tim Dmjd Jones at 2:39pm April 2
I dont think this site provides for any sort of attention that really means anything.. Facebook is more or less of a way for people to post things about themselves that no one really cares about. Not to say that everything about Facebook is pointless, but its majority function serves as a way for everyone to express their narcissistic side that they keep hidden away in most public, real life situations...
Tim Dmjd Jones at 2:40pm April 2
And whether we like it or not.. this world will forever be ran on face-to-face interaction... these sort of sites only provide for a jumping point.. if anything.
 Roee Ben-Moshe at 2:49pm April 2
enough with all of this sophisticated terminology... facebook is too show how cool you are. u go to a party, post a picture, everyone knows your cool etc. dont think too much guys ;)

I wish to fall in love, with one whom loves me as well.

Too bad.
